Tribal Cultures in Africa and
the Pacific Rim produced some
extremely imaginative and
striking art. Tribal belief
systems are in most cases
markedly different to our own.
The idea that objects can be
imbued with spirit and that
wood carvings have genuine
mystical value reflects many
of the themes of tribal
artwork. Genuine examples,
which must be distinguished
from later "souvenir" pieces,
hold their value very well and
are not only attractive
artistically, but also
financially. We only sell
