Ushabtis, Shawabtis or
Shabtis, these Ancient
Egyptian funerary figures were
believed to come to life in
the netherworld, serving their
masters with the menial tasks that
he/she would be required to
do. Many of the figures that
you see for sale here are
shown holding agricultural
instruments such as the hoe
and pick, reflecting this role.
