Bronze Age Anatolian Yortan Culture Jug - 2700 BC

A Yortan culture terracotta jug, dating to the Early Bronze Age II, circa 2700 - 2400 BC.

With flat base and globular body, short, cylindrical neck, cut away spout and loop handle. The shoulders decorated with three raised bosses and the entire surface covered with a pleasing red slip.
