South Arabian Alabaster Statuette - 250 BC

A South Arabian alabaster figure of a woman, dating to the 3rd - 2nd century BC.

Seated on a square stool and dressed in a long gown, large bangles around her upper arms and a rounded collar at her neck. The hair is combed back behind her ears, her eyes are deeply recessed and framed by sweeping brows.
