Anatolian Terracotta Temple Frieze with Horse & Griffin - 525 BC. Part of a terracotta frieze from an Anatolian temple in Düver, Turkey, dating to the late 6th century BC. Decorated in raised relief with a galloping horse chasing a griffin, the creature's curled tail and the edge of its wing still visible. Painted in rich red and black pigments.
