Punic Silver Tetradrachm from Entella - 345 BC

A silver tetradrachm struck by the Carthaginians whilst occupying Entella, Sicily, circa 345 - 315 BC.

The obverse with Arethusa wearing a triple drop earring, beaded necklace and with her hair bound by a wreath of barley ears, dolphins swimming around her. 

The reverse with a large Carthaginian horse standing beside a date palm, a caduceus in front.
